1.2 Staking with Founder nodes
1.2 Staking with Founder Nodes
Participation in Cashtap Nodes requires users to stake $vCASH tokens, the vested form of $CASH. This token serves as the cornerstone for staking, earning rewards, and engaging in the network's governance processes.
Delegates: Users who operate Founder Nodes are referred to as delegates. To run a Founder Node, delegates must stake a minimum of 10 million $vCASH. Their primary responsibilities include validating data and ensuring the network’s reliability and performance.
Stakers: Users who choose not to operate a Founder Node can delegate their $vCASH to existing Founder Nodes. By doing so, they contribute to the network's stability and earn a share of the rewards proportional to the amount of $vCASH they have staked.
This dual-participation system fosters accessibility, encourages decentralization, and strengthens the overall reliability of the Cashtap ecosystem.
